SHF 100-F in action

Product features:

  • Generous 100 to 120 mm scarfing path width
  • Enhanced oxygen flow thanks to newly-developed valves.
  • New shorter scarfing nozzle with flat gasket.
  • Total weight just 4900 grammes
  • Improved handling

Applications:
For complete or partial scarfing and eradication of faulty areas on the surfaces of raw ingots, blooms, slabs, blanks and mouldings made of unalloyed or low-alloy steels.

Safety:
The GeGa Safety Hand Scarfing Torch employs the injector principle whereby gas is mixed within the scarfing nozzle, a design feature which minimises the risk of flashback.

Durability:
The triangular arrangement of the hard-wearing, rust-resistant gas feed pipes between the control valve and the torch head ensures that the appliance has the necessary durability and torsional strength. That makes it ideal for use in the rugged conditions prevailing in iron and steel works.
