GeGa signs Contract for new Scarfing Machine in Benxi, China

GeGa is proud to announce the signing of a contract with Benxi Steel in China for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a new Slab Scarfing machine.

This new plant will enable Benxi to scarf their slabs on all 4 sides, with a capacity of over 2 million tons a year, which will enable them to supply high quality steel for high end automotive and pipeline purposes.

As part of this project, GeGa will also be designing and supplying the control for most of the ancillary equipment in the scarfing factory.

Travelling to Benxi for the signing ceremony were:
