The modern cutting technique


The SOA cutting technique is characterised by fast, efficient cuts coupled with low gas & oxygen consumption.
Autogenous torch cutting of steel with gaseous oxygen and cutting pressures up to 18 bar. This requires a correspondingly higher initial pressure (+2 bar minimum) at the entrance to the machine.

- Series BOA 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 heavy duty cutting nozzles
- Gas supply up to 18 bar
FEATURES:
- Heating flame uses a mix of heating gas and heating oxygen
- Cutting jet of 99.5%-pure oxygen

APPLICATIONS:
- all standard steel qualities
- Cutting thickness up to 500 mm
- Kerf thickness 5.5 – 7 mm
CUTTING SPEED:
- Approx. 530 mm/min at a material thickness of 200 mm,
- Temperature 900°C and carbon equivalent of 0.3%.
