SOBS, SOA (with SDS and BOA nozzles), HOBS and TOBS

The ideal cutting technique for every application

Narrow cuts, high cutting speeds and low gas & oxygen consumption are some of the features which demonstrate the high quality of GeGa cutting techniques and GeGa cutting nozzles and guarantee a maximum of efficiency, economy and safety in steel works all round the world.

We distinguish the following cutting techniques:
· SOBS: The GeGa standard oxygen cutting system
· SOA : The modern cutting technique
· HOBS: high pressure oxygen cutting system
· TOBS: thick material cutting system

The following sections provide brief overviews of the various nozzle types and their different applications.

Click on the miniature version of the cutting speed diagram for an enlarged view of the diagram which you can print out if desired.

For a full overview and brief description of the various nozzle types, cutting speeds at different material thicknesses and temperatures as well as details of carbon contents and other alloy components please consult our Nozzle Booklet, which can be downloaded to your computer as a pdf file by clicking on HYPERLINK Download . Alternatively we will be happy to post you a hard copy of the booklet.
