Complete system

Main features

  • Uniform flame distribution for more effective heating
  • Automatic control for efficient use of fuel gas thus reducing costs
  • Simple robust design to increase availability
  • Longer refractory lining service life
  • Easy to operate
  • Can be used with any fuel gas
  • Dryers and preheaters can use the same design parameters so that spare parts fit either

System types
Most applications require swivelling of the torches to allow the refractory-lined vessel to be positioned by rail or overhead crane. The swivelling can be powered by an electro-hydraulic drive. Counterweights can be used to reduce the force required to acceptable levels for the movement.

Also available are systems in which the gas and air controls are mounted on a carriage which travels horizontally along a rail. Where simple working practices and minimum maintenance are desirable stationary units can also be supplied.

Safety features:

  • Flame monitoring
  • Purging of gas lines
  • Leakage control including fast-closing valves
  • Gas-air ratio control

Optional equipment

  • Programmable heating/drying phases
  • Temperature-dependent regulation
  • Heating covers attached to the torches or recuperators to save on heating gas
  • Electrical torch ignition
