Continuous Torch Cutting Machine

for round, square and rectangular billets

In view of the high pouring speeds of modern billet casting plants, the design focused specifically on cutting round, square and rectangular billets with diameters/cross sections measuring up to 200 mm (SAM) and 450 mm (LSM, RBM, BBM and LBM).

With our Type LBM linear cutting machines the cutter travels linearly rather than back and forth across the material. This makes possible the cutting of widths greater than 450mm, and so-called beam blank sizes.

Thanks to new gas and oxygen supply techniques, GeGa continuous torch cutting machines for billets are extremely cost-effective and efficient systems meeting the high standards expected by iron and steel works in terms of quality, consumption, operational safety, maintenance and ease of operation.
